On-Site Hydraulic Maintenance Guidelines
1. Air Bleeding Required Upon Initial Startup: After replacing a motor or the hydraulic fluid, the drain port located at the top of the motor housing must be opened and filled with clean hydraulic fluid. Subsequently, operate the motor at a slow speed under no-load and low-pressure conditions for 10–15 minutes until all internal air bubbles have been completely purged. If any air remains trapped, a high-pressure startup will result in "cavitation" damage and burnout of the piston shoes.
2. Strictly Control Housing Back Pressure: The motor's drain line must run directly and independently to the hydraulic reservoir; connecting it in series with the system's main return line is strictly prohibited! If the back pressure exceeds 5 bar, the main shaft oil seal will instantly deform, leak fluid, or even rupture.
