Detailed breakdown of the configuration
1. ECU Controller: Responsible for receiving rotational speed signals from four wheel-speed sensors and calculating the slip ratio for each wheel in real time. Upon detecting a tendency for any wheel to lock up, it issues commands-within microseconds-to the ABS control valve to reduce, hold, or increase air pressure.
2. ABS Control Valve (three-valve integrated unit): Combines three independent solenoid control valves and a pneumatic relay valve into a single valve body.
Valve A: Independently controls air pressure for the wheels on the left side of the trailer.
Valve B: Independently controls air pressure for the wheels on the right side of the trailer.
Valve C: Controls air pressure for the third axle (or balances pressure across axles depending on the vehicle model), ensuring balanced braking force between the left and right sides to prevent trailer fishtailing.
3. Sensor extension cables (four) + Main cable (one)
Main cable: Connects to the 7-pin socket at the front of the trailer; it supplies power to the entire ABS system, transmits braking signals, and relays the ABS indicator status back to the towing vehicle.
Sensor extension cables: Due to the length of the trailer body, extension cables are required to route signals from the four wheel-speed sensors (mounted at the axle wheel ends) back to the ECU (mounted in the middle of the chassis frame).
