FUNCTION
1. High-Pressure Fuel Generation and Distribution: High pressure is generated through the rotation and reciprocating motion of an internal single plunger. The plunger compresses the fuel as it moves upwards, creating high pressure. The distributor head precisely distributes this high-pressure fuel to the injectors of all four cylinders, ensuring each cylinder receives fuel in the correct firing order and at the correct time and quantity, achieving uniform combustion.
2. Fuel Metering and Regulation: An internal mechanical governor automatically adjusts the fuel supply based on engine speed and load. Fuel supply is reduced at low load/idle to prevent runaway or black smoke. Fuel supply is increased at high load to provide maximum power. The rack/sleeve position is controlled to change the effective plunger stroke, achieving precise fuel quantity control.
3. Automatic Injection Advance Angle Adjustment: An internal hydraulic advance mechanism utilizes the increasing fuel pressure within the pump housing as engine speed increases, pushing the advance piston to rotate the distributor head, achieving dynamic adjustment of the injection advance angle.
