FUNCTION
1. Manual Control of Air Circuit On/Off and Switching: As a two-position three-way manual valve, it switches between two working positions by pulling the handle. Position 1 (normally pulled out/reset): P (inlet) and A (working port) are connected, R (exhaust port) is closed → air supply to the actuator; Position 2 (pulled out/working state): P and A are disconnected, A and R are connected → exhaust from the working port, cylinder retracts or system depressurization occurs. This enables manual opening/closing, on/off, or reversing control of the air circuit, and is particularly suitable for extending/retracting single-acting cylinders.
2. Provides Emergency or Manual Operation Control: Used as a manual backup switch in automation or pneumatic systems when the solenoid valve fails or manual intervention is required. Commonly used in emergency braking, system depressurization, safety locking, or testing/debugging scenarios to ensure operators can quickly cut off the air supply or release pressure.
3. Supports Power Take-Off (PTO) or Power Output: In construction machinery, the main function is to manually control the start and stop of the PTO. Pulling the handle connects the air circuit → drives the PTO to engage, and the engine power is output to the hydraulic pump/winch, etc. Resetting → disconnects the air circuit, the PTO disengages, and power output stops.
