M2: Electro-proportional control valve configuration (Control Type)

3. Control logic: De-energized = Minimum displacement. When the solenoid is de-energized, the motor is at minimum displacement (highest speed, lowest torque); as current increases, displacement gradually increases (speed decreases, torque increases).
4. Additional features: No PCOR (Pressure Compensator Override). This means the model lacks mechanical automatic displacement-reduction protection, relying entirely on external electrical signals to precisely control the motor angle.

 

Common Faults
1. Mechanical: If the hydraulic oil contains tiny iron filings or impurities, it can easily scratch the surfaces of the spherical pistons and the valve plate (causing scoring). Symptoms include increased internal leakage, severe overheating, and failure to reach expected rotational speeds.
2. Electrical: Loose wiring or a burnt-out coil on the M2 solenoid valve, or an unstable external control current, can prevent the motor from adjusting its displacement (causing it to get stuck at minimum displacement and unable to deliver high torque).

 

Maintenance Recommendations
1. Strictly adhere to cleanliness standards for closed-loop hydraulic systems; regularly replace the hydraulic oil and high-precision system filter elements.
2. After every major overhaul or motor replacement, the motor housing must be filled with clean hydraulic oil via the case drain port before operation. Starting the motor without oil (dry start) is strictly prohibited, as this will cause the pistons to burn out instantly.
