FUNCTION

2. Governor Closed-Loop Feedback: The sensor transmits the detected AC frequency signal to the electronic governor; the control board then compares this frequency against the preset target frequency with millisecond-level precision. Should sudden load fluctuations on the generator set cause the engine speed to waver, the system immediately commands the actuator to adjust the fuel control linkage on the high-pressure fuel pump, thereby ensuring the stability of the AC frequency output from the generator set.
3. Over-Speed Protection: The sensor signal also serves as the core foundational data enabling the controller to monitor engine safety. In the event of a sudden loss of speed control-such as a stuck throttle-that triggers an "overspeed" (runaway) condition, the controller detects an instantaneous surge in the transmitted frequency beyond the critical safety threshold.
