FUNCTION
1. Prevents Lubricating Oil Leakage: Installed at the end of the MC07 engine's power take-off shaft or auxiliary drive shaft, it seals the gap between the shaft and the housing, preventing engine/transmission lubricating oil from leaking out and ensuring that oil does not drip onto the ground or pollute the environment.
2. Blocks External Contaminants: Effectively prevents dust, mud, moisture, and foreign objects from entering the transmission system, keeping bearings, gears, and other precision components clean and reducing wear and corrosion.
3. Maintains System Pressure and Lubrication: Maintains stable oil pressure within the power take-off shaft cavity, supporting normal PTO operation, ensuring smooth lubricating oil circulation, and preventing dry friction or overheating.
4. Reduces Friction and Noise: The lip design generates an oil return effect during shaft rotation, reducing leakage and lowering frictional heat between the lip and the shaft, extending the service life of the seals and the shaft.
Working Principle
As the shaft rotates, the lip of the oil seal presses firmly against the shaft surface to form a dynamic seal; a return groove pumps any minute amount of seeping oil back into the cavity, thereby achieving "zero leakage" or extremely low leakage. Installed within the seat ring (080V93020-0384) and secured in conjunction with an O-ring (MQ6-56936-1300), the assembly ensures a dual static and dynamic seal.
