The input shaft (angle gear shaft) of the main reducer (rear axle/middle axle differential) is sealed to prevent gear oil (differential oil) from leaking out, and at the same time to prevent external dust, water and mud from entering the reducer.

 

FUNCTION

1. Prevents gear oil leakage: Effectively prevents differential/gear oil from leaking out of the main reducer, maintaining a stable oil level in the axle and avoiding oil loss that could lead to dry grinding of gears/bearings, abnormal noise, overheating, or oil spillage from the axle housing, polluting the environment.

2. Prevents external contaminants from entering: The dust lip and outer lip structure prevent dust, mud, moisture, and road contaminants from entering the axle housing, protecting bearings, gears, and the differential from contamination, corrosion, and wear, extending the life of the axle assembly.

3. Withstands high-speed rotation and heavy load pressure: Under conditions of high-speed driving, heavy loads, frequent starts/brakes, or muddy/construction site conditions, the oil seal lip tightly adheres to the shaft surface, and the spring provides continuous radial pressure, ensuring reliable sealing and reducing the risk of oil leakage.
