3. Return Spring Assembly: Upon release of the manual control lever or loss of air supply, a high-strength internal spring automatically returns the valve stem to the neutral position (mechanical neutral dead zone), halting cylinder movement.
4. Check Valve: Each valve spool section is typically equipped with an internal load check valve. This prevents fluid backflow during directional switching, thereby avoiding issues such as the sanitation vehicle's bin-tipping mechanism or scraper blade "dropping" or "sagging" at the moment of actuation.

Common Faults and Maintenance Guide
1: Oil leakage at the valve stem: Prolonged, high-frequency operation causes the O-ring or composite washer at the stem end to wear out or age. There is no need to replace the entire assembly; simply replace the worn part with an oil-resistant fluororubber O-ring of the same specifications.
2: Unresponsive pneumatic control: Moisture in the vehicle's air supply can cause scaling or rusting inside the rear pneumatic cylinder, wear on pneumatic seals leading to air leaks, or freezing of air lines in winter. Check if the vehicle's pneumatic solenoid valve is supplying air correctly. If air reaches the rear of the multi-way valve but fails to actuate the mechanism, disassemble and clean the rear pneumatic actuator cylinder, then apply fresh grease.
3: Manual lever is stuck or fails to return to position: The rear return spring is broken. Remove the valve stem and clean it thoroughly with a cleaning agent; do not use sandpaper to scrub it. If the spring is broken, replace the rear spring seat assembly.
4: Low system pressure: Debris stuck in the main relief valve prevents it from closing properly. Remove and clean the safety relief valve spool located on the first valve section. After reinstallation, connect a pressure gauge and adjust the pressure upward to the standard value by turning the adjustment bolt clockwise.
