1. 3. Friction Disc: The surface is covered with a semi-metallic friction material (copper powder-graphite-carbon fiber composite material), and the base is made of cast iron or high-strength steel. It provides a friction surface that transmits torque when pressed against the pressure plate. The friction coefficient is usually above 0.30, and it can withstand a torque of over 2000 Nm.
