Parker Patented 3-Stage Filtration Design
After fuel enters the filter housing, water, heavier than diesel, first settles naturally by gravity. Next, the fuel flows to the pre-filter (Position 2) for secondary filtration via turbine centrifugal force. Finally, fuel passes through the replaceable 2020PM filter element for the third stage of purification.
This triple-stage filtration within a single unit delivers performance unmatched by counterfeit alternatives that rely solely on single-element filtration.
2020PM Filter Element with Patented Aquabloc II Media
The 2020PM element uses proprietary Aquabloc II media with exceptional water repellency. Water cannot penetrate or even adhere to the material. All contaminants larger than 2 microns are blocked. It offers extended service life and superior filtration efficiency. This outperforms generic filter elements made from ordinary composite paper without defined micron ratings.
Protective Ball Valve Mechanism
Manufactured with high-sealing imported materials, the ball valve operates based on the density difference between fuel and water. If the user repeatedly neglects draining accumulated water, rising water levels will push the ball valve to shut off the fuel inlet. This reduces engine power and may even trigger engine shutdown.
It acts as the final safeguard to prevent water damage to your engine and compels operators to drain water — functioning like a built-in alarm for your water separator.
