With a sealing groove, fixing bolt holes, and oil seal mounting position, it is used to cover and fix the front bearing of the input shaft, prevent axial movement of the bearing, lubricating oil leakage, and provide protection.

Function
1. Secure and protect the input shaft bearing: The cover covers the front tapered bearing (WG9003323131) of the input shaft and is bolted to the front housing. This restricts axial movement of the bearing, preventing it from shifting or dislodging under high speed and torque, ensuring stable rotation of the input shaft.
2. Seal the front oil passage of the gearbox: Working in conjunction with the input shaft oil seal (WG9003070501) and the elastic retaining ring (Q43175), a sealed cavity is formed, preventing gear oil leakage from the front of the input shaft. It also blocks external dust and moisture from entering the gearbox, maintaining lubrication and cleanliness.
3. Withstand front loads and vibrations: Under high-load conditions where the heavy-duty truck engine directly drives the input shaft, this cover acts as a structural support, absorbing vibration and impact, reducing abnormal wear of the bearings/shaft, and improving the overall durability and reliability of the gearbox.
