Components of the Control Switch System
1. Automatic Temperature Control Switch (Sensor Unit): Screws directly into the temperature-sensing port on the hydraulic oil cooler or hydraulic oil tank; functions as a temperature-sensing switch. When the hydraulic oil temperature reaches the preset upper limit, the internal contacts close, automatically activating the fan at high speed for cooling. When the oil temperature drops to a safe range, the switch opens, and the fan stops.
2. Temperature Control Relay Box (with Relay): Since the fan draws high current, the load cannot be handled directly by the temperature control switch. Instead, the temperature control switch sends a "trigger signal" to the relay inside the control box; the relay then controls the high-current main power supply, thereby protecting the electrical circuits and the switch itself.
3. Manual Control Switch (Optional/Retrofit): Located in the rocker switch area of the cab's center console. It is wired in parallel with the automatic temperature control switch. During hot seasons or before heavy-load hill climbing, the operator can manually toggle the switch to the "Always On" position to force the fan to run early for cooling.
