FUNCTION

1. Real-time sensing of oil pressure changes: The system monitors the oil pressure in the engine's main oil passage or oil pan via a built-in pressure-sensing diaphragm or switching element. When the oil pressure exceeds a set threshold, internal contacts remain open, and the oil pressure warning light on the instrument panel goes out, ensuring normal engine operation. Once the oil pressure drops below the low-pressure alarm threshold, the contacts quickly close, activating the alarm circuit and outputting a 24V electrical signal to the instrument panel, illuminating the red oil pressure warning light or triggering a buzzer alarm, immediately alerting the driver to stop and check the oil level, oil pump operation, filter blockage, leaks, or oil system problems.

2. As a passive safety actuator for engine protection, it works in conjunction with the oil pressure gauge/sensor, providing a dual monitoring mechanism. Under normal pressure, it does not interfere with the instrument display; the alarm function is activated only when there is an abnormal low pressure. Its 24V electrical system is compatible with the standard voltage of heavy trucks/construction machinery, directly connected in parallel to the instrument circuit without additional power supply. Its fast response ensures reliable alarm triggering under various operating conditions, including engine idling, high load, or sudden leaks.

3. Supports full-condition engine protection, effectively preventing sudden pressure drops caused by oil dilution, insufficient pumping, or oil circuit vapor lock in scenarios such as cold start, idling, high temperature and high load operation, or long-term idling; vibration resistance, high temperature resistance, and oil contamination resistance reduce the risk of false alarms or missed alarms.
